WANT TO RIDE BUT NOT RACE?

.:: 2012 WEEKS SOLD OUT ::: WE ARE NOW TAKING RESERVATIONS FOR 2013 WEEKS ::.

TRANS PROVENCE GUIDED TRAIL WEEKS

After several requests, succesful 2011 pilot weeks, and on a limited basis only, Ash will be teaming up again for 2012 with reputed Maritime Alps trail guru and qualified French guide Greg Germain to offer a slightly different experience: a fully-guided and vehicle-supported mountain biking journey following the exact itinerary of the Mavic® Trans-Provence race.

If you unfortunately are unable to get an entry for the September event or simply would prefer to ride 100% free of the pressure of competition, then this is the ideal alternative solution to allow you to experience Mavic® Trans-Provence's awesome trails. Needless to say, you could also treat this as a highly useful route reconnaissance and training trip should you choose to take part in the event itself in future.

Ride this sort of terrain for 7 days back-to-back without the burden of self-navigation, self-catering or finding comfortable lodgings.

Of course there won't be quite the buzz and atmosphere of the event itself, but there are also positives in the more relaxed and personal vibe that comes with a week like this. The dates currently available (i.e. where we currently still have spaces remaining) are the weeks commencing Saturday 2nd June, Saturday, 9th June and Saturday 23rd June 2012. We are very excited about this concept as May and June is also a lovely time of year in the Maritime Alps... similar temperature to September/October, same trails, different colours!
